Abstract

Field catalog containing records of birds collected mostly in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Record of birds collected in Florida, Kentucky, and various countries in South America including Belize, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Collections were recorded between Spring 1874 and November 1898. Information recorded includes collector number, scientific name, sex, date, locality, and measurements or other remarks. Collector numbers 1-5078 are included. Includes list of birds given to the University of Virginia.
