Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Harry Malleis in Guatemala and Montana, July 9, 1919 - January 1926. Entries cover USNM catalog number (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 752), sex, scientific name, locality (state, town), date, measurements (3 types), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of additional location information (geological landmarks and distances from), quantity of embryos, additional measurements (ear, expansion), and specimen preparation. Some pages are blank. Locations include but not limited to Flores (Peten), Guatemala; Zortman, Wilder, Hilger, Little Belt mountains, and Big Belt mountains.
