Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by William S. Lloyd in Mexico and Texas, July 5, 1890 - March 28, 1892. Pages are numbered. Entries cover specimen number (1 - 1183), sex, name of species, locality (town, county, state, ranch names, distance from landmarks and sometimes altitude), date, measurements (total, tail vertebrae, and hind foot), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of habitat, additional measurements, specimen preparation, terrain, diet, weight. Locations include communities across Texas; Monterey [Monterrey], Nuevo León, Zapata, Mexico.
