Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by A. Remington Kellogg in California, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Virginia, June 1915 - February 1920. Entries include USNM catalog number (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 1118), sex, name (scientific), locality (town, state), date, measurements (total, tail hind foot), and remarks. Remarks cover a combination of terrain, habitat and vegetation (i.e. in runway of burham grass), quantity of embryos, and additional location information (names of parks, geological landmarks).
