Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Charles M. Hoy in Arizona, July 15 - October 16, 1917. The entries include USNM catalog number (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 212), sex, name (scientific), locality (towns, geological landmarks, ranches, and distances from), date, measurements (length, tail, foot), and remarks. Remarks include description of terrain (i.e. from lava bed), altitude, specimen condition, and vegetation. Locations include the vicinity of but not limited to Winona, San Francisco mountains,Tanner Tank, Aztec Tank, Angell, Tunitcha Mountains, Colorado River, Hackberry, Hualpai mountains.
