Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Luther J. Goldman in Canal Zone (Panama), January 1912 - April 1933. Entries include some USNM catalog numbers, specimen number (21198 - 24024), sex, type (scientific name), locality (town, geological landmark), date, measurements (3 types), and remarks. Remarks cover a combination of specimen preparation, additional location information (i.e. bat caves south of Alhajuela), terrain (altitude, ground composition), and specimen condition.
