Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Leonard Giovannoli in Kentucky, July 1929 - September 1929. Entries include some USNM catalog numbers (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 85), sex, name (type), locality, date, measurements (total, tail vertebrae, hind foot), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of information; notes on stomach contents, habitat, results of dissection, specimen preparation, habitat with notes of vegetation, additional location information with distances from landmarks, and method caught (notes on bait). Locations include Mammoth Cave and Barren county.
