Abstract

This field book consists of the field notes of Kirk Whited from collections he made in Washington in 1889 and 1900. Collector numbers 1001 to 1188 and 1248 to 1339. Each page contains an entry on a specimen, arranged in chronological order by date and collection number. Entries include: collector number, date, scientific name, and detailed physical description of specimen. Notes are made for additional specimens of the same species collected or observed, and includes references to similar specimens (with collector numbers). Localities include: Wenatchee River, Rock Island, Malaga, Horse Lake Region, Columbia River.
