Abstract

This field book consists of the notes of George Vasey from a trip through the western United States in 1899. The notes are probably a manuscript of a report on the plants of this region. The notes describe the landscape of the western United States traveling westward from the Missouri River, and particularly describing the arid region and grasses that grow in that area. Locations include Missouri, Kansas, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and possibly others.
