Abstract

The field catalog documents the field work of C. Birdseye in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Michigan, California, Washington, Colorado, July 1908 – June 1912. Pages are numbered. Entries include USNM catalog number (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 1312), sex, locality, measurements (3), and remarks. These include altitude, specimen condition, additional location information (i.e. ranch name, or distances from locations or geological landmarks), terrain, and weight.
