Abstract

The field book documents Daniel Denison Streeter's field work in North Dakota, July 9 - December 7, 1909. He was the expert field naturalist. A portion of the notebook is blank. Entries are dated and describe travel details (destinations, time of day, mode of transportation), daily activities and time of day, collecting methods, weather, and travel preparations. Entries are terse. Refers to work completed with Bailey. Includes news clippings in the back of the notebook.
