Abstract

The field book documents E. W. Nelson's field work in Mexico and Texas with E. A. Goldman, September 20, 1898 - November 5, 1899. Entries are dated and often headed with location. Subject matter covers distances (listed on left hand pages), routes, campsites, daily work, and terrain (elevations). Much of the notebook is blank. Locations include towns in the states of Sonora and Sinaloa. Additional information includes the names of farms and ranches as well as geological landmarks.
