Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants collected by Robert W. Read in Panama. No years are included, but the years 1984 to 1985 could possibly be inferred from the collector numbers. Collector numbers 84-45 through 85-57 are included. Entries list: collector number, scientific name, locality. Entries occasionally include physical characteristics (shape, size, etc.), and letter designations ("K", "D", "I", etc.), and notes indicating "sterile". Some entries are crossed out. A hand drawn map of Cerro Jefe can be found on the cover verso. Some small rough sketches of seeds are included with some entries.
