Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants collected by Swallen in Brazil, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Wisconsin, 1946-1948. Collector numbers 9001 through 10000 are included. Entries list: collector number, scientific name, locality notes. Occasionally, physical characteristics are noted. Some entries are narrative and describe landscape and vegetation observed. The notes are a combination of typed and handwritten notes. Localities include: Rio de Vargem, Santo Victoria, Rio Camaqua. Localities in Canada include Cape Breton (Nova Scotia).
