Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants collected by Swallen in California, Arkansas, Texas, and Colorado, from 1927 to 1928. The notes are a combination of typed and handwritten notes. Collector numbers 600 through 1298 are included. Entries list: collector number, scientific name, locality notes. Occasionally, physical characteristics and whether the specimen is a duplicate are noted. Localities include: San Jacinto Mountains (CA), Sequoia National Park (CA), Ozark Mountains (AR), Ringgold (TX), Rio Grande Valley, Telluride (CO), and Durango (CO).
