Abstract

Specimen catalog from the Palearctic Migratory Bird Survey, 15 September 1971 to 13 February 1972. Bird specimens were collected in Egypt. PMS numbers 13527 to 14395 are included. Each data sheet records age, sex, preparation, name, locality, date, collector, number, weight, fat, preparator, iris, bill, feet, skull, repr. anatomy, breeding data, molt, measurements, ecol. notes, stomach contents, parasites, blood, related specimens, and remarks. Localities include Bahig (Matruh), El Bahariya Oasis, Dakhla Oasis (New Valley), Kharga Oasis (New Valley) [Khārijah, Al Wāhātal], Kom-ombo [currently Kawm Umbū] (Aswan gov.), Qena, Dandara, Luxor, and possibly others.
