Abstract

Specimen catalog from the Palearctic Migratory Bird Survey, 26 March to 9 August 1971. Bird specimens were collected in Egypt. PMS numbers 12003 to 12730 (although numbers 12729 and 12730 have been crossed out) are included. Each data sheet records age, sex, preparation, name, locality, date, collector, number, weight, fat, preparator, iris, bill, feet, skull, repr. anatomy, breeding data, molt, measurements, ecol. notes, stomach contents, parasites, blood, related specimens, and remarks. Localities include Bahig (Matruh), Ikyad (Zagazia Gov.), Abu Rawash [Abū Rawwāsh], and possibly others.
