Abstract

Specimen catalog from the Palearctic Migratory Bird Survey, 24 December 1970 to 21 February 1971. Bird specimens were collected in Egypt. PMS numbers 10966 to 11443 are included. Each data sheet records age, sex, preparation, name, locality, date, collector, number, weight, fat, preparator, iris, bill, feet, skull, repr. anatomy, breeding data, molt, measurements, ecol. notes, stomach contents, parasites, blood, related specimens, and remarks. Localities include Bahig (Matruh), New Nubia, Lake Manzala [Manzilah, Buhayrat], Faiyum [Al Fayyūm], Shata, Abu Rawash [Abū Rawwāsh], and possibly others.
