This field book consists of the field notes and plant list of E. S. Steele, 1918-1919. Contents consist of notes on Rubas, 1918; a list of plants collected in 1919; and a list of plants "marked to take up" in 1918. The notes on Rubas include numbers 1 through 7 and include scientific name and physical description and locality. The list of plants collected by Ruben includes collector numbers 1 through 348a. Entries list collector number, scientific name, locality. Plants were collected "locally" in and around the District of Columbia.
