Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants collected by E. S. Steele in Terra Alta (West Virginia) and District of Columbia in 1924. Collector numbers 1 tough 177 are included. Entries list collector number, scientific name, and locality. Some entries also list physical description (color of flowers, size, other observations). On pages 2 through 5 is an accounting list, in a different handwriting, from 1853 and 1856. The list is titled "Dr. Denham Bank in a/c with Mrs Janiska Bengham".
