Abstract

The field book documents E. A. Goldman's field work in Utah, August 7 - October 23, 1937. Entries are dated and are headed with location or route. Subject matter covers travel details (destinations, times of day, mileage), notes on vegetation and terrain (elevation) observed enroute, lists of plants seen per site with corresponding life zone, lists and count of birds per site, and visits to museums in San Diego. From the back is a list of expenses, and notes on wildlife. Includes loose pages. Locations include vicinity of Blue Range, Ganado, Lukachukai Mountains, Chinle, Flagstaff, Arizona.
