Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants (mostly bamboo) collected by T. R. Soderstrom in Sri Lanka, in 1978. Collector numbers 2550 through 2563 are included. Entries include: collector number, scientific name, locality, date, elevation, physical description, habitat, abundance / rarity, and other observations. Entries are long and descriptive. Several sketches are included throughout. Localities include: Nuwara Eliya, Perideniya, Dolukanda. Lists of photographs are included in the back of the book.
