Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants (mostly bamboo) collected by T. R. Soderstrom in Savannah, Georgia, 1978. Collector numbers 2500 through 2524 are included. Entries include: collector number, scientific name, locality, date, elevation, physical description, habitat, abundance / rarity, and other observations. Some entries also include P. I. numbers and plot numbers. Entries are long and descriptive. Several sketches are included throughout. Includes a photocopy of an undated letter, from Charles Adamson at USDA to Soderstrom, regarding the identification of bamboo plants.
