Abstract

The field book documents the field work of Edward A. Goldman in California, Utah, and Arizona, September 28 - December 4, 1936. Entries are dated and headed with location or route. Subject matter covers travel details (destinations, times of day, mode of transportation, mileage, campsites), interactions and meetings with local staff and officials, terrain and vegetation (altitude, life zones), trapping and collecting, and descriptions of flora and fauna around campsites.
