Abstract

The field book documents the field work of Edward A. Goldman in Mexico, February 25 - May 4, 1935. Entries are dated and often headed with location or route. Pages are numbered. Subject matter covers travel details (destinations, times of day, mode of transportation), notes on terrain (marshes etc.) seen enroute (topography), observation of wildlife (birds and mammals), vegetation (types and descriptions), and observations types of birds available at town markets.
