Abstract

The field inventory documents Douglas R. Emlong's paleontological field work on the west coast of the United States, 1969-1972. Includes handwritten and typed notes. Specimen description is organized by specimen and anatomical part (measurements and appearance), including number (288 - 739), type, period, geological descriptions including formations, description of locality including terrain and distance from geological landmarks or towns, and time (season or month, year). Locations include Schooner Creek, Yaquina River, Lost Creek near Newport, and Moolack Beach State Park. Includes separate locality notes for Gleneden Beach, Oregon.
