Abstract

Notes on the mammals of Yellowstone National Park, from approximately April 1902 to February 1903. Mearns often includes altitudes, localities, quantity, and a description of what the specimen was doing when observed. Localities include but are not limited to Gardiner River, Sepulcher Mountain, Gardiner Canyon, Mammoth Hot Springs, Upper and Lower Geyser Basin, and Elk Park. Includes specimen list of Sorex and Neosorex, collector numbers 5320 to 5370. One photograph of unidentified felids.
