Abstract

The journal was kept by William Louis Abbott while collecting in Haiti, circa 1918-1919. The field book includes a variety of information. Format and content varies throughout. Includes a list of contacts, lists of shipments to the National Museum of Natural History, and list of specimens. Birds that are listed with a number include Latin name and sometimes short description. Others are lists of birds during a given date range and location listed. Some entries are dated.
