Abstract

Field notes Mearns kept during field work in Florida, 1901. Contains narrative accounts of bird collecting (no numbers included), lists of plants observed, and lists of birds observed. Also includes notes kept by Mearns on a train trip to Fort Yellowstone, 1902. Includes lists of birds observed in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Some museum notes also included. Florida localities include but are not limited to Alligator's Bluff and Kissimmee River.
