The specimen lists were compiled by Alexander Wetmore while in South America, 1920-1921. He was investigating the distribution of life zones of North American migratory birds in southern South America (Argentina and Paraguay). In addition to the information in specimen collections, the records include time of day, whether adult or young, and activity of specimen when collected. Also includes specimen list from collecting in Haiti. Specimen numbers are between 4000 and 6000. Specimens are not listed in numerical order.
