Abstract

This field book contains approximately 20 pages of notes recording observations during focal animal sampling, questionably for golden lion tamarins. Notes on how to conduct ten minute focals and 30 minute scans are also included. During these focals, such behaviors as social behavior (e.g. playing and fighting), eating (including sharing and stealing), active exploration, rest, and other are recorded. Animals observed are numbered and described by sex, physical description, and small sketches or head or tail noting coloration.
