Pearce in the San Juan Basin of New Mexico and the Wind River Basin [or Shoshone basin] of Wyoming, 1964. Includes correspondence (27 to 31 August 1964; Secretary Ripley to Secretary of the Interior; Gazin to Ripley); expense list; list of the specimens numbered 1-61 collected from 28 June to 8 August 1964. The list records collection number, specimen and quantity, initials of collector, date, locality, age or formation, and horizon. Localities include Barrel Springs, West fork of Arroyo Torrejon [possibly Vicente Arroyo], Cameron Springs, Cheppo Creek, and other localities.
