Abstract

Report created 31 August 1964. The report contains various materials related to Gazin's summer field work with Franklin L. Pearce in the San Juan Basin of New Mexico and the Wind River Basin [or Shoshone basin] of Wyoming, 1964. Includes correspondence (27 to 31 August 1964; Secretary Ripley to Secretary of the Interior; Gazin to Ripley); expense list; list of the specimens numbered 1-61 collected from 28 June to 8 August 1964. The list records collection number, specimen and quantity, initials of collector, date, locality, age or formation, and horizon. Localities include Barrel Springs, West fork of Arroyo Torrejon [possibly Vicente Arroyo], Cameron Springs, Cheppo Creek, and other localities.
