Abstract

This item contains data on foraminifera collected during Vema cruises 14, 18, 19 dated from February to May 1958 for cruise 14 and from approximately March 28, 1962 to November 30, 1963 for cruises 18 and 19. Also includes data collected for Robert Conrad cruises 8 and 9 dated from January 16, 1964 to May 8, 1965. Stations visited during these cruises were located in the Indian Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Gulf of Aden. Other locations may be included. These data sheets contain the following data fields: ship name, cruise no., station no., sample no., total no. samples, date collected, time, depth range, water filtered, plankton displ. vol., surface temp. and salinity, coordinates, estimated and actual count, species, total specimens in sample, relative abundance, absolute abundance, and total.
