Abstract

Report created 13 September 1954. Report contains materials related to Gazin's summer field work in the late Wasatchian New Fork exposures and Paleocene areas in Wyoming, 1954. Includes letters from Gazin to Secretary Carmichael (10 and 13 September 1954) and a letter from Carmichael to the Secretary of the interior (13 September 1954); expense list; list of the 60 specimens collected from 25 June to 22 July 1954; and one page report summarizes Gazin's collecting activities and collections (mostly mammal). Localities include La Barge Creek, Bison Basin (Fremont County), Big Piney, Hiawatha, and other localities.
