Abstract

The journal documents the field work of Edward A. Goldman in Arizona and California, August 20, 1907 - February 24, 1908. Entries are dated and headed with location. Subject matter covers travel details (destinations, time of day, mode of transportation, distances), terrain seen enroute, altitude, wildlife observed (mammals), aspects of geology, collecting methods, lists of birds and plants seen per location.
