Abstract

This folder contains several documents. 1) One page summary of Kennicott's collecting trip in Fort William and surrounding area. 2) List of bird specimens numbered 91 to 460 (not numbered continually). This list records scientific name, locality, date, and notes on abundance / rarity or other details. 3)Correspondence: letter from Spencer Baird to Kennicott; letter in French to Kennicott (20 June 1964). 4) page long descriptions of bird specimens. Localities include Slave Lake and other localities. The year is unknown for most of these materials, but is sometime between 1859 and 1866.
