Abstract

The field book documents the field work of A. K. Fisher in Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oregon, June 4 - November 5, 1912. Entries are dated and location is noted on the left hand pages. Much of the notebook is blank. Subject matter includes travel details (destinations, time of day, mode of transportation, accommodations), daily activities, interactions with local inhabitants and colleagues, vegetation, specimens collected, interactions between wildlife and crops, lists of birds observed per location. Half the notebook is blank.
