Abstract

The field book documents the field work of A. K. Fisher during the Harriman Alaska Expedition, May 22 - August 7, 1899. Entries are dated and describe travel details (destinations, times of day, mode of transportation), lists of plants observed per location, specimens collected, flora and fauna observed, weather, collecting methods, daily activities. Locations include but not limited to Kukak bay, Malaspina glacier, Unalaska, Saint Matthew island.
