Abstract

The field book documents the field work of A. K. Fisher in Arizona and Colorado, April 22 - July 26, 1892. The entries are dated and pages are headed with location. Entries describe travel details (destinations, time of day, distance traveled, mode of transportation), terrain, vegetation, observed wildlife (type, habitat), collecting methods, and specimens collected. There are notes on the left hand pages with scientific names of wildlife in text. Locations includes but not limited to the vicinity of Huachuca, Tucson, Phoenix, Willen (Coshise county), Arizona; Fort Wingate, New Mexico(?);Trinidad, (state unidentified); Sterling, Colorado.
