Abstract

The correspondence and notes document Lincoln Ellsworth's field work in Lower California [Baja California], Mexico, December 1913 - February 1914. A loose note documents the findings in stomach contents of sheep collected by Ellsworth. The correspondence lays out itinerary, party participants (including H. H. Blagden), specimens collected (types), distances covered, descriptions per campsite, terrain, and vegetation. Their primary focus around Tres Pozos was hunting antelope and deer.
