Abstract

T. R. Soderstrom kept this journal during a trip to Mexico in 1959. The entries are long and narrative and describe daily activities, observations of the landscape and vegetation, and mention colleagues and travel routes from the United States (through Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas) to Mexico and back to the United States. Includes references to photographs taken. Localities include: Saltillo, Teotihuacan, Veracruz, Mexico City, Durango, and others.
