Abstract

The field book documents the work of Clarence Birdseye in Arizona, Michigan, and Montana, March 8 - December 19, 1910. He was the expert field naturalist for the US Biological Survey. Entries are dated. Subject matter includes travel details (destinations, time of day, mode of transportation, accommodations, campsites) and specimens collected. Most entries are short.
