Abstract

The photograph album documents Alexander Wetmore's travel in Finland and England during 1958. Photographs include numbers, dates, and captions with description and location. Subject matter includes observed groups and individual birds (sometimes includes Latin name), nests, and environs; candid scenes of colleagues during excursions; and farms in the countryside of Finland. Locations are in the vicinity of (Finland) Otaniemi, Storträsket, Ainalinjärvi, and (United Kingdom) Norfolk. Includes photographs of Wetmore, Beatrice Thielen Wetmore, Erwin Stresemann, Dean Amadon, and Robert Winthrop Storer.
