Abstract

This field book includes the field notes of Captain E. Kirby Smith on plants collected during the Mexican Boundary Expedition in 1855. The field notes include a list of plants Kirby Smith collected, with scientific name and locality. Some entries have a note for "co-type". Localities include: Sonora, Santa Cruz River, Santa Cruz Mountains, Canyon of the Guadeloupe, and others. No dates or collector numbers are included.
