Abstract

This field book includes the field notes and plant lists of J. H. Sandberg from Washington in 1893. Collector numbers 1 through 881 are included. Localities include: Spokane, Wenatchee River, Nason Creek, and Douglas County. Plant list entries include collector number, scientific name, habitat, locality, date, and altitude. Journal entries are long and descriptive and include daily entries documenting Sandberg's collecting activities, routes traveled, and observations of the landscape and vegetation. Journal entries list date and camp number.
