Abstract

Daily, narrative notes on and lists of birds Howell observed or collected from 4 June 1892 to 1897. Notes include information on abundance, sex, measurements, movement, weather conditions, and other details. A series of numbers ranged from 300-761 is often referred to. Localities include but are not limited to Lake Grove, Long Island, NY; Somerset Beach, VA; Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY; Woodhaven, Long Island, NY. Miscellaneous list on page 250. Notes by Edwin [H.
