Abstract

This field book consists of the notes of Nina Prey on specimens shipped from Ponce, Puerto Rico to F. V. Coville, Botanist at Bureau of Plant Industry. Collector numbers 1 through 91 are included. Entries list collector number, physical description (including height, color, characteristics), locality collected, and date. Occasionally, scientific name, common name, and citations for determination are included. Some notes on native use of plants. Includes packing list, letter to F.V. Coville, and list of seaweeds Prey asked Coville to identify. Materials dated 1903 to 1905.
