Abstract

This item consists of two small collecting field books issued by the U. S. Department of Agriculture and kept by Henri Pittier during collecting trip in Venezuela in 1917. The books include entries in pre-printed form fields of: Latin name, local name, dialect, field no., S. P. I. no., collector, locality, habitat, altitude, habit, height of plant, diameter breast high, flowers, fruit, special notes, uses, and date. Collector numbers 7205 through 7402 are included. Localities include Catuche, Cotiza, and Queseras.
