Abstract

This field book includes the field notes of William Palmer (with O. Bryant) from collecting trips to Japan, China, and Java (Indonesia) in 1909 and 1910. Collector numbers 1 through 1389 are included. Entries list collector numbers, locality, common names (fern, orchid, flower, etc.), and date. Numbers 1141 through 1389 were collected with Bryant. Most of the collecting took place in Tjibodas [Cibodas], Java. Other localities include: Nagasaki (Japan) and Hong Kong (China), among others.
