Abstract

This field book includes a list of dry season plants collected by Edward Palmer in Tobar and Durango (Mexico) in 1906. Collector numbers 228 through 553 are included. Entries are descriptive and often include physical appearance of specimens (including shape, color, size, etc.), locality and date collected, habitat, abundance/rarity, and local names and local uses (including culinary) for plants. Some names and collector numbers have been pasted into the book, possibly from other field books.
